Partnering with leaders in green energy

As part of our commitment to supporting a cleaner, more sustainable future, ADIPEC has formed strategic partnerships with leaders in green energy to reduce the environmental impact of the event.

For the upcoming edition of ADIPEC 2023, several efforts have been taken to reduce the carbon emissions associated with the event and to reduce its environmental impact. This includes using clean energy to power ADIPEC, integrating circular economy practices at ADIPEC to reduce the use of resources throughout the event, promoting sustainable business practices and travel choices with ADIPEC’s exhibitors and attendees, and more.

• Emirates Electricity and Water Company (EWEC) – ADIPEC will be “Powered by Clean Energy from EWEC”, which will provide and certify the clean energy used to power ADIPEC within the ADNEC venue halls, enabling it to decarbonise the power it uses, at scale.

The partnership makes ADIPEC the largest event in the region to be powered by clean energy

All electricity used within the halls for ADIPEC 2023, including build-up and breakdown, will be from clean energy, certified by Clean Energy Certificates from EWEC.

• Aggreko – Will provide solar power to partially power the ADIPEC exhibition tents surrounding ADNEC.

• CHOOOSE – ADIPEC has partnered with CHOOOSE, a leading software-as-a-service platform that empowers businesses and people to integrate climate action into their experiences through automated emissions calculations and a vetted marketplace of carbon removals, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and offsets. The CHOOOSE app will be integrated into the ADIPEC website, through which all ADIPEC participants will be directed to create a CHOOOSE account to track and offset their carbon emissions.
