Entry Requirements for UAE Residents
- Participants should present AlHosn App green pass at all entry points in the venue
- Non-vaccinated participants need to present a negative PCR test result conducted in the UAE, and valid for no more than 7 days prior entrance to the event
Entry Requirements for International Participants
Vaccinated Visitors
- International visitors need to present AlHosn App green pass (click here to read the complete instruction). If you have any issues downloading or registering yourself on the AlHosn App, simply bring a proof of vaccination and a PCR test taken within 30 days
- International visitors can use their home PCR test, taken within 30 days
Non-Vaccinated Visitors
- Present their passport and visa at the entrance
- Present a PCR test result taken within 7 days
- Optional wearing of face masks in outdoor and indoor spaces.
- Participants should be mindful of regular sanitisation of their hands.
How to register on the UAE’s Official Covid-19 App – AlHosn
For UAE resident: You can download the AlHosn app from the App Store, Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery and the Galaxy Store free of charge. The app works on smartphones running on Android and iOS.
If you are travelling from abroad
- Register your arrival by logging into https://ica.gov.ae/en/ when you plan your trip
- Complete the registration arrival form
- No test to fly to Abu Dhabi if you’re fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, you must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours, or a COVID19- recovery certificate.
- Download AlHosn app and register your account using the UID that you received earlier and your phone number
- You will receive an OTP to complete the registration on AlHosn App

What is the Al Hosn app?
Al Hosn is the UAE’s official COVID-19 app. It is used to display health status, PCR tests, contract tracing, travel information, vaccination record and unique QR code.
How can I get the Al Hosn app?
You can download the Al Hosn app from the App Store, Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery and the Galaxy Store free of charge. The app works on smartphones running Android and iOS.
However, to complete the download of the Al Hosn app, you will need a Unified Identification Number (UID). Click here for more information.
As an alternative to using the Al Hosn app, visit m.Alhosnapp.ae to check your latest PCR test result.
How do I register for the Al Hosn app?
Before departing for Abu Dhabi, visitors can register in the “register arrivals” section on the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship ICA app or website (www.ica.gov.ae), submit the required information on the form, and upload international vaccination certificates. Visitors will receive a text message that includes a link to download Al Hosn app.
On arrival in Abu Dhabi, visitors will receive a Unified Identification Number (UID) https://www.gdrfad.gov.ae/en/find-my-uid through the application or the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship ICA (www.ica.gov.ae) website that is linked to the phone number registered when having a PCR test in the UAE.
Visitors will then receive a One Time Password to complete the registration on the Al Hosn app, using the UID and phone number used for ICA registration or when taking a PCR test in the UAE. The Al Hosn app is used to display your health status, vaccination information, PCR test results, travel information and your unique QR code.
Is the Al Hosn app free of charge?
Yes. The Al Hosn app is free of charge and can be accessed from the App Store, Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery and the Galaxy Store.
Will the Al Hosn app consume my data?
The app is "whitelisted" by UAE telecommunications companies Du, Etisalat and Virgin, which means it does not use your data.
