WHY ABU DHABI?
Abu Dhabi is at the heart of the oil, gas and energy industry and ADIPEC has played a significant role in positioning Abu Dhabi as a key destination for this sector. With UAE holding the world’s sixth largest oil reserves, the country remains one of the world's most reliable producers and exporters of crude oil.

ABOUT ABU DHABI
Abu Dhabi means “Land of the Gazelle” in Arabic. It is the largest and capital city amongst the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. Located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf and it adjoints the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.
The said emirate is ruled by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also the President of the UAE since 3 November 2004.
Like the other countries, Abu Dhabi is also rich in natural wonders too. The Emirate offers natural beauty such as the famous Liwa Oasis located in the south which home to some largest and majestic sand dunes in the world.
ABOUT THE VENUE
The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Centre will be held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) located in the capital city’s Diplomatic District along Airport Road and Khaleej Al Arabi Street and is easily accessed by a well-developed network of roads.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is a multi-award winning venue offering organisers of exhibitions, conferences and events outstanding facilities spread over a total space of 142,226 square metres.
The Exhibition Centre is situated:
- 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi Centre
- 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport
- 90 minutes from Dubai International Airport
Directions to the venue
DIRECTIONS FROM DUBAI:
- Travelling from Jebel Ali, Dubai on the way to ADNEC will take you no more than 45 minutes’ drive. Upon leaving the Sheikh Zayed Road of Dubai (E11), follow the directional signs Abu Dhabi/Jebel Ali until you leave the emirate of Dubai and enter Abu Dhabi emirate road (Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road).
- Approximately 30 minutes, you will pass by Al Raha Mall on your right and the ‘coin-shaped’ HQ building. Within 5 minutes after passing by Al Raha mall, move to the right hand lane to exit Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road and follow the signs for Abu Dhabi (E22).
- Once on the E22, continue over Al Maqtaa Bridge and you’ll see the famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque on your left and you are now driving towards Airport Road.
- On 2km you will reach a series of traffic lights and a park is on your left hand side. Continue straight passing an ADNOC petrol station on your right and few meters away will be Carrefour supermarket on your left.
- Take the immediate right exit once passed by the supermarket until you reached the big roundabout. Take the fourth exit and follows signs to the adjacent multi-storey car parks.
DIRECTIONS FROM CORNICHE:
- Take Khaleej Al Arabi Street from Corniche (heading way out to Abu Dhabi) Until passing the famous Capital Gate Tower and exhibition centre on your left hand side.
- When passing ADNEC, keep on a right hand lane until next Exit signed towards ‘Corniche’ and ‘Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum St.
- Follow the signs way to exhibition centre till you reach the adjacent multi-storey car parks.
