Samuel Okomgboeso

Mr. Samuel Okomgboeso is a leader in Oil and Gas Industrial Risk, Crisis, Disaster and Emergency Response Management. He has over 27 years’ experience in industrial emergency response management in the Oil and Gas industry. His professional membership includes, Associate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers UK, Member of The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand, Member of the International Associations of Emergency Managers USA and Member of the International Association of Public Safety Communications Canada. He is a certified NEBOSH Oil and Gas Operational Safety and API Certified Process Safety Practitioner. He is currently working for ADNOC Refining in the United Arab Emirates as, Team Leader, Fire Services, Central Fire Brigade Department (Ruwais).

Before joining ADNOC Refining, Mr. Samuel Okomgboeso worked for the following organizations: ADNOC Onshore as Senior Fire Officer, Intricate Solution Nigeria Limited as Lead Crisis and Emergency Management Consultant, and for Akakus Oil Operations Libya as a Chief Fire Officer and Senior Safety Advisor, and for Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria as a Fire Officer. In 2014, Mr. Samuel earned his MSc from University of Leicester United Kingdom, in Risk Crisis and Disaster Management. He received his B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria in 1993.  Mr. Samuel Okomgboeso’s research and coaching are in the fields of Emergency Management, Organizational and Leadership Effectiveness.
