Sameer Vijay

Sameer Vijay is the go-to person for recycling topics in Borouge Pte since October 2021, helping advance Borouge’s strategy to offer recyclate-based solutions. Working across locations & organizations, he is responsible for all technical activities related to recycling & qualification of recyclates within Borouge. He has extensive experience in PO recycling landscape while working for Borealis where he was critical in formulating & implementing CES Innovation Strategy. He has been a key contributor to the development of process technologies for advanced recycling & for Borealis’ PO production processes. He is an experienced engineer & a strategic implementer, always championing practical resource conservation.

He has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, USA and a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. He currently divides his time between UAE and Austria.
