Dr. Patrick Thorpe

Patrick's career has spanned more than 30 years in industrial process control and optimization. He started out as an application engineer with Exxon before moving on to several start-ups, working on technology aimed at process efficiency improvements for the energy and petrochemical industries. Most recently he founded Spiro Control with the objective of developing digital solutions that can assist in transitioning the capital-intensive process industries to net-zero operation. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University.
