Daniel J. Hrtus is currnetly working as a researcher and a project manager at ORLEN UniCRE – a research institute focused on applied and basic research in the refining and petrochemical industry. His primary focus is the topic of chemical recycling of mixed plastic waste via pyrolysis.
He holds a mechanical engineering degree with specialization in process engineering from the Czech technical University in Prague. Previously, he worked as a researcher at the Texas Tech University in the US where he explored the usage of metal halides for ammonia storage.
