Manuela Joaquim Rebelo, born in 30 December 1966, is currently the Chairperson of Mozambique’s Energy Fund (FUNAE), a public institution tasked with the responsibility to expand off-grid energy to ensure access by the residents of the country’s deep remote areas, fuel and drinking water.
Throughout her outstanding professional record, she served as Mozambique’s deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, for 12 years. For five years, Manuela Rebelo also served as the Head of Human Resources, Finance and Administration Department at the country’s Civil Aviation, then the Provincial Director of Transport and Communication in Inhambane province.
Presently, she is pursuing a higher degree in Aeronautical Law but holds a Master’s in Business Law. At the secondary school, she studied Industrial Electricity, then Electric Systems course at the Maputo Industrial Institute.
