Dr. Mario Dewald

Dr. Mario Dewald is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the Production of Energy systems and resources. Currently serving as the Head of Technology in Compressor Production at Siemens Energy, he has held diverse experience in supply chain strategic planning, stakeholder management, engineering, information technology, project management and digitalization programs. Mario’s expertise lies in driving efficiency, enhancing business excellence and agility, and positioning Siemens Energy a future-ready organization.

Mario’s leadership at Siemens Energy includes spearheading advanced production technologies & -processes and their development and implementation in the company's strategy. He is part of several neuralgic devops programs which contribute to Siemens Energy core purposes.

Mario’s educational background includes a Diplom-Ingenieur and a Ph.D. in production technology from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Since this year he also owns the title Director of sustainability by RWTH Aachen.
