Michael Spitzbart is Senior Vice President for Refining Business MEA at OMV Downstream GmbH.
He is responsible for heading all refining and corresponding trading business for the MEA region at OMV including related joint venture management (e.g. ADNOC, Parco) as well as the business development activities in the region with various partners. Mr. Spitzbart joined OMV in 2007 in the Corporate Strategy department after 6 years with Accenture in the strategy consulting practice. In his career at OMV he was so far Counselor to the CEO, Head of Business Development Refining & Petrochemicals, Vice President for Crude & Risk Management and Senior Vice President for Supply & Trading.
Michael Spitzbart holds a Master Degree for Commerce from the Vienna University of Economics & Business Administration and a Master in International Management of the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS Program).
