Martin graduated with a master’s degree in Energy and Process Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. He joined Linde Engineering in 2014 and has more than 9 years of experience in olefin technologies as Process Engineer for large olefin plants with a focus on the furnace section. Projects include designs of new plants as well as complex revamp projects and start-up support.
Since 2018, Martin was closely involved in the conceptual design and development of the electric cracking furnace, starting from the initial development phase and accompanying the project as technology implementation manager towards the design, procurement, construction and start-up preparation of the world's first demonstration plant. He is co-inventor of several patents and patent applications in the field of electric cracking furnaces.
