Mark Hauptmann

Mark Hauptmann is the Chief Globalization Officer (CGO) of EPT for Storage Tanks, the premier German firm specializing in state-of-the-art storage tank solutions. With his remarkable expertise in international leadership and an in-depth understanding of the industry, Mark's primary responsibility is to spearhead the company's expansion into markets outside its core EU domain. Under his leadership, EPT for Storage Tanks is venturing into the GCC, Eastern Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions. This expansion aims to provide closer consultation, production, and operation services to its vast array of international clientele and partners.

Before joining EPT, Mark served as the CEO of an international business development and consulting firm with an emphasis on environmental engineering and energy efficiency.

In addition, Mark dedicated eight years to the German federal government's CDU/CSU parliamentary group as a member of the German parliament. In this role, he was an integral part of the committees on Economic and Energy, as well as Foreign Affairs. He significantly contributed to the primary legislation concerning Germany's energy transition.

Mark holds a master's degree with honors in Political Science, International Business Communication, and Business and Social History. He pursued his studies across Germany, Japan, and the USA.
