Fares El Khazen

After joining TotalEnergies in 2006, with a first experience in Engineering with an EPC contractor, Fares El Khazen alternated between positions on large Exploration and Production projects in United Kingdom, Norway, Angola and Nigeria and Development positions for Middle East in Paris. In 2019, he was appointed Project Director of the Marsa LNG project in Oman.

He was named, in 2021, Vice President Business Development Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East & Africa, covering the Company downstream new business and developments including Petrochemicals and circularity (Plastic recycling, Sustainable Aviation Fuel,s etc.)

Fares El Khazen is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB) and holds an MBA from Paris La Sorbonne.
