Dr. Ashwani Malhotra

He has over 37 years of experience in the process design and engineering of refineries (including Crude & Vacuum Distillation units) and onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities and in the Equipment and R&D divisions of EIL. His experience includes all process activities from Refinery configuration studies, preparation of basic process designs, and preparation of FEED packages, detailed engineering of basic engineering/FEED packages, and review of detailed engineering by contractors to commissioning supervision and guarantee runs. He has carried out the process design of many Crude & Vacuum Distillation Units and other Refinery units including both grassroots & revamps. Involved in Energy Optimization studies in Refineries and Application of IIOT in Refinery Units. He holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi & bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
