Claude Letourneau

Claude Letourneau is an industrial projects veteran with over 30 years of experience in leading world-class technology companies to advance their technology and commercialize. As Svante's President and Chief Executive Officer, Claude is guiding the company on its journey to becoming a global leader in building a marketplace for CO2.

Claude's career history includes senior management positions with Canam Group Inc., SNC-Lavalin Inc., and Kontron Embedded Computers AG. Additionally, Claude founded two technology companies, Vaperma, Inc. (membrane-based gas separation company) and Avestor Inc. (thin-film lithium polymer battery manufacturer). These past experiences provide the necessary insight for the bilingual executive to forge new strategic alliances and partnerships with like-minded industry leaders and to guide the company’s scaling-up with an aggressive time-to-market game plan.

Claude holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University Laval, Quebec.
