As Technology Principal for OGCI Climate Investments, Armen Abazajian is responsible for technical evaluation of project and venture investment opportunities and for technical support of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Climate Investments, over his 34-year career Armen held various positions as Group Manager at Advisian, Chief Process Engineer at Worley, Vice President Technology Development for a technology startup, Managing Director at three other startups, Senior Engineer at Syntroleum, R&D Manager at Albemarle and Manager – Technical Support of Operations at Ethyl. Armen has filed for 22 patents, has been granted 12 and has authored 14 articles. Armen holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
