Alessandro Rosatelli holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Specialization in Dynamics, Control and Robotics, from the University of Rome.
He is currently holding the position of Managing Director of Eni Abu Dhabi Refining & Trading Services B.V., the Eni downstream company based in UAE, of which is also the General Manager of Abu Dhabi branch. He is also CEO of SOM S.p.A., (Shell - Eni logistic Joint Venture for crude oil transportation in southern Italy), and Board Member of Bayernoil Raffineriegesellschaft mbH (Eni - Varo - Rosneft Joint Venture, owner of Vohburg and Neustadt Refineries in Germany) and of PCK Raffinerie GmbH (Refinery Eni - Rosneft - Shell Joint Venture, owner of Schwedt Refinery in Germany).
He previously served as Head of Technology & Operations, for Eni’s three fully owned and three joint-venture Oil refineries, and for two Green refineries (refineries dedicated to first and second generation biofuels production).
With over 25 years in the hydrocarbon industry, he has experience in refinery and logistic operations, international supply, planning and control. He has worked for Eni in several refineries and industrial plants, in Europe and North Africa, and has held various management roles in technology, operations, supply and planning.
