Filippo Comelli

Filippo Comelli covers the role of Senior Manager of TES Middle East, a company focused on becoming the largest e-NG producer in the world. TES is currently developing its Upstream Module projects across the globe with prominent International Partners. Filippo is responsible for driving TES’ MENA Region expansion and has more than 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector where he held senior leadership roles with global IPPs covering their international growth and expansion. He was the Executive Vice President of Norsk Solar AS a leading listed C&I renewable IPP backed by the development banks of Finland and Norway, where he held the Board position for their JV Company. Filippo’s core expertise is in Business Origination, Business Development and Project Finance, establishing numerous successful projects across the globe, particularly in high growth markets. He also has deep front-line operations experience, having led multi disciplinary teams across several continents. Filippo is Italian and is fluent in English and Spanish and has knowledge of French. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy; a MSc in Economics and Business Administration and a Double Degree CEMS Master in International Management from Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen, Denmark and a MBA with Major in Finance and New Venture Management from EMLyon Business School, Lyon, France.
