Dr. Sami Ben Jamaa is 25+ years a visionary leader and accomplished professional, currently serving as the Senior Managing Executive Officer and Chief Innovation and Digital Officer (CIDO) at JERA Co., Inc. With a wealth of experience and expertise, he joined JERA in April 2018 and has since been diligently shaping the company's digital portfolio and strategic direction. As CIDO, Dr. Ben Jamaa bears the crucial responsibility of crafting innovative strategies that enable JERA to thrive in the digital age. His focus lies in revolutionising the energy landscape with fully digitally connected power plants, global corporate systems deployment, and an integrated energy services platform. Dr. Ben Jamaa enjoys working on futuristic technological initiatives and its societal and business impact. At the helm of such programs, he is working to leverage data from the Internet of Things (IoT) to fuel a revolutionary knowledge management intelligence, powered by cutting-edge General Artificial Intelligence (G-AI) and integrated with mixed Reality technologies. Through strategic leadership, he has spearheaded the the establishment of the Trust Energy Interoperability Alliance (TEIA), a groundbreaking alliance of energy and power companies dedicated to setting Energy Devices Interoperability Standards.
