Katie is an HR and Crewing professional with 20+ years’ experience in developing people strategies and leading global crewing operations across various sectors in the maritime industry. Originally from Scotland, Katie has spent most of her career in the Middle East working within the offshore sector. Katie joined V., a global leader in ship management and marine services, in 2021 as Senior Crew Management Partner, overseeing crew management activities for the company’s cargo fleet in the UK & Americas region. She has since taken on the role of Director of Culture and Engagement, where her focus is on designing and implementing initiatives that drive positive crew culture and improve wellbeing and engagement.
