He oversees a wide set of responsibilities covering strategy, corporate governance, P&L, sales, service, and business portfolio growth of Automation Solutions for the region. MEA is one of the fastest growing world areas for Emerson.

Mathias brings a wealth of expertise to the realm of Process Automation, drawing from an extensive career spanning over two decades with Emerson. His leadership journey encompasses pivotal roles across diverse continents including Europe, Asia, & North America where he has successfully navigated Finance Operation, Sales, and General Management.

With a rich tapestry of experiences, Mathias is primed to lead the region towards a future where innovation converges with environmental consciousness, paving way for a more responsible and efficient industrial landscape.

Mathias is a graduate of DHBW Mannheim with a Diploma in Finance & Marketing as well as a holder of Executive MBA dual degree from the University of Maryland & China Europe International School.
