Fahmi Al Shawwa

Fahmi Al-Shawwa is the Founder and CEO of Immensa. Fahmi holds multiple certifications in Additive Manufacturing and is one of the pioneers of Additive Manufacturing in the Middle East. His Company, Immensa is a world leader in the use of Additive Manufacturing in the Oil & Gas industry and across the Energy sector. He leads a team of more than 80 specialized engineers with presence in KSA, UAE, Kuwait, and the United States.

Fahmi is responsible for building an organization that is pan regional and delivered projects globally.  Fahmi is considered a subject matter expert on Additive Manufacturing application in industry, and he is one of the members of the International Joint Innovation Program that established industry guidelines for producing metal 3D printed parts for the O&G and Maritime sectors. 

In 2016 Fahmi founded Immensa to capitalize and leverage the benefits of Additive Manufacturing (Industrial 3D printing) to transform and modernize the O&G supply chain process. His company has filed patents related to 3D Printing and is the first 3D Printing company globally to be granted the Oil & Gas specific ISO 29001 certification.

Fahmi has served as a board member and advisor to several companies across the region and is a member of a number of professional associations including the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He graduated with a dual degree in Finance and Marketing and has completed various specialized courses at the London Business School, Singularity University, MIT, and currently is in Harvard Business School’s multi-year Presidents Program.
