Dr. Saleh AlHashmi

Dr. Saleh Alhashmi is Director, Group Commercial and In-Country Value (ICV) at ADNOC. In his current role, he leads and oversees ADNOC Group's commercial and procurement activities. He is also a member of the National ICV Committee, making significant contributions to "Make It In The Emirates" program and the overall Abu Dhabi's Industrial Strategy.
Since 2016, Dr. Alhashmi has been actively involved with several high tech and investment organizations and has led the creation of successful start-ups and founded several tech initiatives. He brings a wealth of experience from holding several senior leadership positions across businesses, government and academia. He serves as an Executive Board Member and Executive Officer in several organizations, technology and financial institutions. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of Infrastructure and Environment at the General Secretariat of Abu Dhabi's Executive Council.
He is a patented inventor and a published author in several peer-reviewed academic journals, including Science Magazine. He was profiled by the MIT Tech Review as a tech enthusiast who is leading the charge for the UAE’s tech revolution.
Al Hashmi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, USA.
