Gonzalo is an accomplished Hydrogen and LNG Marketing executive with 20+ years of experience with energy super-majors delivering commercial viability in geographically disparate environments.

Currently, he is co-leading the Hydrogen Taskforce at the Association of International Energy Negotiators, where he is crafting the next generation of commercial agreements needed for the development of the hydrogen economy and advice boards and CEOs on transformational deals through his own consulting practice. Since 2021, Gonzalo stepped into senior advisory roles at the Club of Engineers of South Africa on topics related to hydrogen and LNG projects assessment whereas until recently, he was the Honorary Representative of Buenos Aires City Government in Singapore, forming relationships with Government and investors across innovation, sustainable energy and climate change.

Previously, as General Manager (2016 to 2020) and Head of Portfolio Analysis (2009 to 2015), Gonzalo leveraged his background to lead the start-up of Mozambique LNG’s Singapore commercial office and Qatargas worldwide LNG marketing efforts.

Prior to this, in 2006 Gonzalo was promoted to Risk Manager with Eni UK Limited, reviewing trading activities, P&L developments and risk, expanding the client portfolio with an enhanced risk profile.

Gonzalo offers a solid foundation on senior advisory roless, having been Committee Chair/Member for Gas (Eni UK Ltd.), Marketing & Shipping (Mozambique LNG), Co-Chair/Council Member – Study Group for the International Gas Union and currently Co-chair Hydrogen Taskforce for the Association of International Energy Negotiators. He was the Honorary Representative of Buenos Aires City Government forming relationships with Government, investors, and universities across innovation, sustainable energy, & climate change.

Fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, Gonzalo holds an MBA from Eni Corporate University Italy and a Bachelor of Science (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Buenos Aires.
