Frederik Majkut

Since July 2022, Fred Majkut is Sr. Vice President of Carbon Solutions, looking after the global CCUS business for SLB. In that role, he oversees business development, engineering, commercial offerings and strategic investments. Prior to taking that position, Fred was the Director of Marketing and Strategy for SLB in the Asia Basin. In that role, he led the crafting and deployment of SLB’s corporate strategy in the Asia region. He also served as Executive Sponsor of Schlumberger Asia Sustainability Committee. Over the last 23 years, Fred has gone within SLB through a number of operational, technical and managerial positions in the United States, France, Central America, North Africa, Middle East and Asia. In 2014, he was appointed as Global Vice President for slickline services. He subsequently took over the role of Vice President for Well Intervention services in Asia, before becoming Vice President for Well Services in Middle East & Asia. From 2017 to June 2020, he oversaw all production business lines of SLB in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Fred graduated in 1999 with a Masters degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, with honors.
