Brandon Spencer

Brandon Spencer is currently President of ABB’s Energy Industries. The division is responsible for the delivery of solutions and services that digitalize, automate and electrify the energy industries to ensure safer, smarter and more sustainable use of resources across oil & gas, power & water and chemicals sectors. Brandon joined ABB in 2006. In his first three years at ABB, he was National Account Manager for ExxonMobil, Dow Chemical and ConocoPhillips. In this role, he supported the power segment of ABB’s businesses. In 2009, Brandon was promoted to Global Account Manager responsible for ConocoPhillips. In 2011, he was named Global Account Manager for ExxonMobil. In both roles, he worked with a global team of sales, operations and service personnel to support existing customer facilities as well as to pursue all major upcoming projects. Brandon and his team represented all five of ABB’s global divisions. In mid-2013, he transitioned into the role of Vice President of Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals for the US, and in January 2016, he took up the role for the whole of North America. Prior to joining ABB, Brandon held various roles at Siemens Power Generation. These roles included positions in operations, service as well as sales and marketing. Following his receipt of a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Brandon went on to earn a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
