Mr. Nouh was appointed Chief Executive Officer of TAQA in November 2019, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of AlMansouri Petroleum Services (AMPS), the Arabian Drilling Company (ADC) and the Arabian Geophysical & Surveying Company (ARGAS).

In his capacity as TAQA CEO, Mr. Nouh has focused on making a clear transition to a fully aligned functioning operating company focused on flawless execution, group synergies and delivering the highest value to TAQA customers. Under his leadership, TAQA launched its 2021 Strategy that positions TAQA as leading the way in offering differentiated, competitive products and services to Energy Companies in the MENA region, maintaining continuous value creation.

Prior to joining TAQA, Mr. Nouh held several leadership positions with international companies headquartered in Dubai, UAE, where he was the Chief Technology Officer of the international subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC). He also served as Executive Officer and President of Baker Hughes Inc for the Middle East and Asia Pacific region from 2008 until 2017. Additionally, before Mr. Nouh joined Baker Hughes Inc, he spent 19 years with Schlumberger in several technical, product development and leadership positions based out of Dhahran, KSA, Dubai, UAE, Paris, France, and Houston Texas. Mr. Nouh began his career in 1989 with Saudi Aramco’s Manufacturing, Supply and Transportation business line before moving to Schlumberger in 1994.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University and has completed several advanced courses in Energy Economics, Investment Banking, Finance and Leadership over his career. He is a lifelong member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is an active Board Member of its Saudi Arabian chapter.
