LanzaTech is a late-stage biotechnology start-up company, originally founded in New Zealand over 17 years ago. LanzaTech is focused on sustainability and decarbonization. LanzaTech’s carbon transformation technology is like retrofitting a brewery onto an emission source like a steel mill or a landfill site, but instead of using sugars and yeast to make beer, pollution is converted by bacteria to fuels and chemicals. Eldar Khamidulin is Global Director - Sustainable Solutions for Oil & Gas Industry of LanzaTech UK, a subsidiary of LanzaTech Inc headquartered in Chicago, USA. In this role, Eldar is focused on driving forward numerous internal and customer projects based on LanzaTech’s Gas Fermentation and LanzaJet’s Alcohol-To-Jet technologies. Eldar is Chartered Chemical Engineer and UK Executive MBA graduate.

In terms of his wider career, Eldar is a chemical engineer has over 20 years of cumulative licensing, EPC and commissioning experience across various energy sectors. He enjoyed a 14 years career with Honeywell-UOP, in a number of technical roles in Oil & Gas including Process Technology Licensing and Equipment department, R&D, Technical Services and Commissioning. Prior to LanzaTech, he worked as Director of Business Development for EMEA and the Far East at Wison Group – the largest private Chinese EPC company, providing services in refining, petrochemical, syngas chemical, and LNG & renewable energy. Eldar worked in various parts of the world including EMEA, US, India and Far East.
