Dr. Al Yafei is CEO of TRANSCO – the company responsible for planning, building, and operating the power and water transmission networks within TAQA Group’s Transmission & Distribution business line.
A seasoned industry executive with more than 19 years of experience in various sector leadership roles, his expertise spans the fields of asset management, operations & maintenance, technical services, projects, and more.
In his role as TRANSCO CEO, Dr. Al Yafei oversees key phases of milestone grid interconnection projects, which enables the UAE’s energy transition and facilitates the nation in working toward its sustainability and decarbonisation goals.
