Dan Carter

Dan is President of Decarbonisation for Wood. As the world embraces the energy transition, countries, organisations and individual assets are rising to the challenge it presents by exploring cutting edge solutions and developing expertise to pave the way to a more resilient future.

In his role Dan leads Wood’s Decarbonisation team which brings together Wood’s consulting, engineering, technology and digital expertise to deliver carbon reduction solutions for clients across multiple industrial sectors. By using Wood’s Decarbonisation SCORE methodology, which he co-developed, Dan and the team are providing organisations with tailor-made roadmaps to achieve their carbon reduction goals.

Dan has a master’s degree in chemical and bioprocess engineering from the University of Wales and a Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Chartered Engineer.
