Alessandro has worked extensively in the energy and climate space, with focus on emerging climate technologies including hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels and direct air capture. He worked as a Technical Director at Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, an investment vehicle to accelerate the global deployment of ground-breaking cleantech projects, focused on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (amongst other technologies).
Alessandro holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany and an MBA from INSEAD Business School, Singapore.
