Muzzamil Khider Ahmed

Muzzamil Khider Ahmed is the Senior Vice President of HR & Chief People Officer for Oilfield Services & Equipment (OFSE) with Baker Hughes. As the HR leader for OFSE since July 2017, Muzzamil is responsible for executing all aspects of HR strategy, including succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training, and compensation.

Mr. Khider Ahmed has more than 20 years of HR experience in the oil & gas and power generation sectors.

Prior to leading HR for OFSE, he directed the HR Integration for GE Oil & Gas during the merger with Baker Hughes.

Muzzamil joined GE Oil & Gas in 2014 and served as the Global HR Director for Well Performance Solutions before becoming the Global HR Leader for the Surface business.

Prior to joining GE Oil & Gas, he held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility across 11 years at Schlumberger, including HR leader of the Regional Support Center for the Middle East and Asia, Human Resources Manager for the U.A.E., Human Resources Manager for Ecuador and Peru, and Colombia and Ecuador Geo-market Human Resources Manager.

Prior to Schlumberger, Muzzamil held various HR management roles in Europe for the Saudi Royal family, mainly in France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

Muzzamil Khider Ahmed holds a DEA in international relations and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Paris VIII.
