Next-generation gas infrastructure: delivering molecules to market at speed

Global gas and LNG infrastructure is entering a critical expansion phase as countries race to secure energy for rapidly electrifying economies. Pipeline upgrades, FSRUs, onshore terminals, regasification capacity, storage and associated pipeline connectionsare all under pressure to keep pace, yet permitting constraints, new demand centres and supply-chain bottlenecks remain major obstacles. The coming LNG wave will only be useful if assets can deliver molecules to market quickly and reliably. Recent disruption across major shipping corridors has reinforced the importance of redundancy, alternative export routes and flexible import capacity. Modular and floating assets, fast-deployment regasification, expanded storage to buffer volatility and digitally optimised operations are becoming essential components of modern gas systems. The risk is not only building too slowly; it is building the wrong infrastructure in a market where demand, policy and pricing remain highly uncertain.

Attendee Insights:
Understand which infrastructure solutions most effectively accelerate gas availability for rapidly growing and electrifying economies, and how operators are balancing flexibility with long-term strategic commitment.
