Karim Osseiran is a senior energy-sector executive with extensive experience across project delivery, engineering, training, supply chain, commercial management ,and business leadership. He has spent much of his career with Petrofac, holding a succession of senior roles across its international operations and developing a broad understanding of the oil and gas services industry. Osseiran currently serves as Managing Director – Commercial Functions at Petrofac, with responsibility spanning business development, tendering, supply chain management and subcontracting, activities. His career at the company has included leadership of its global Training Services business and senior responsibilities in engineering and production services, as well as operational leadership in Iraq. Earlier in his Petrofac career, Osseiran served as Iraq General Manager, overseeing operations in a strategically important market. Osseiran subsequently held leadership responsibility for Petrofac's Training Services business, representing the company at international industry forums, discussing workforce development, digital learning, and the transfer of technical skills. More recently, as Group Head of Supply Chain, Osseiran has been involved in Petrofac's approach to in-country value, local procurement, and contribution to local economies. He has also represented the company in discussions around supply-chain resilience and commercial opportunities across the Middle East and North Africa.
