Jesper S. Jensen has more than 35 years of experience in the shipping industry and has led TORM’s Technical Division for the past 12 years responsible for the operation of the company’s 95 vessel tanker fleet. Jesper has been a key driver of TORM’s energy efficiency strategy, leading the company’s efforts with advanced optimization technologies, operational improvements, and close collaboration across departments to reduce emissions and improve fleet performance. Alongside investments in new technologies and practices, he has consistently focused on refining and enhancing the tools already embedded in the One TORM platform. This ongoing development has helped the fleet operate more efficiently, delivering benefits both for the environment and for the business. The One TORM platform provides detailed insight into each vessel’s performance, which in combination with the inhouse crewing allowing teams to identify best practices, respond quickly to deviations, and continuously optimize operations. Before joining TORM, Jesper held positions with both Maersk and the Clipper Group. He combines a background in marine engineering and economics with an MBA from Henley Business School, giving him a solid technical foundation paired with strong commercial insight.
