Her White House portfolio placed her at the intersection of domestic energy policy, international trade, energy security, and global commercial interests. Before joining the Trump Administration, Brittany represented Shell USA in Washington, D.C. on the federal affairs team. In that role, she supported Shell’s Midstream and Deepwater businesses in the Gulf of America, working across the businesses to advance strategic priorities and navigate the federal policy landscape. Earlier in her Shell career, she supported the company’s Downstream, Trading and Supply, and Chemicals businesses. Brittany joined Shell after working at Valero’s headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, in Strategic Planning and Public Policy within Corporate Development. There, she provided policy and strategic analysis supporting corporate decisions across Valero’s traditional refining business and emerging opportunities in low-carbon fuels and hydrogen. Brittany began her career in the Permian Basin in Midland, Texas, working upstream in the oil and gas industry. At Noble Energy, now part of Chevron, she served as a State Government Affairs and Community Affairs Advisor, working extensively across Reeves County and the surrounding Permian Basin. Earlier, as a Landman, she managed title work, land operations, and drilling permits for independent and publicly traded operators throughout the Permian Basin and New Mexico. She began her career with the Permian Basin Petroleum Association, where she developed an early understanding of the independent producers and major companies shaping the Permian Basin and broader U.S. energy industry. Brittany is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Government and Communications. During her time at UT, she was active in Young Conservatives of Texas and participated in the 83rd Texas Legislative Session. She also interned in Senator Ted Cruz’s federal office.
