Nada Al Ghamdi is a Lead Lab Scientist and Group Leader of the Chemical Analysis Group at Research and Analytical Services Department, Saudi Aramco. She has been working in the fields of Analytical Chemistry and Water Chemistry since 2014. Her work focuses on understanding water chemistry, and hydrocarbon composition using a variety of wet chemistry & analytical techniques such as chromatography and Atomic Spectroscopy techniques and associated corrosion and scaling studies. With a decade of proficiency in Chemical analysis, Nada also served as Quality assurance Group leader for 2 years where she was responsible for developing, managing and implementing the department quality system based on ISO 17025 requirements & quality best practices following Six Sigma and many other quality tools in the department. Presently Nada is leading the Chemical Analysis Group to support Saudi Aramco operations and Research with a team of 20 technical people involving scientists and specialists. In addition, Nada has participated in different conferences including, Laboratory Technology Conference- Lab Tech, ChemIndix – Co-chaired technical sessions related to operation excellence and quality management, Produced Water Middle East Conference and World Heavy Oil Exhibition & Congress either as speaker, technical committee member or organizers. Moreover, Nada has much involvement in supporting the STEM programs and female empowerment within Aramco and participated on many occasions to motivate young females to join STEMs fields. Nada has published a Research paper in a peer-reviewed Journal, two technical publications and contributed to two patents.
