ADIPEC catalysing sustainable future with certified clean power

For too long, sustainability has been used as a mere buzzword when, in fact, it is a global imperative. Recognising its pivotal role, ADIPEC, a global energy conference and exhibition dedicated to accelerating urgent, collective action to future-proof the energy system, is taking action to advance its sustainability.

As part of ADIPEC’s commitment to reducing its ecological footprint, we have partnered with Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) for the upcoming edition of ADIPEC on 2-5 October in Abu Dhabi.

Through this strategic partnership, EWEC will power all of ADIPEC’s activities at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) venue with clean energy – not just during the event’s four-day span but also throughout the build-up and breakdown phases of the event. Our use of clean energy will be certified through Clean Energy Certificates provided by EWEC.

This arrangement is part of ADIPEC’s larger roadmap to carbon neutrality. We have also signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Climate Neutral Now Pledge, by which we are stating our intention to estimate the event’s greenhouse gas emissions, to try to reduce them, to consider offsetting them, and to report them annually.

With our commitment to sustainability, ADIPEC 2023 will not only act as an industry event but also as a catalyst for a greener, more sustainable future.
