Hanan is an International Consultant and Business Director with over 20 years of experience across market acquisition, strategic branding, government affairs, and executive leadership. Currently, she serves as the Business Director for the Energy Institute (London) in the Middle East region. Before joining the Energy Institute, Hanan excelled at ABB Group for over 19 years, leading impactful projects within the power automation unit for the Energy industry. Her strong leadership skills were evident in functions like stakeholder management, marketing, and project execution. Throughout her career, Hanan has cultivated a strategic network of partnerships within the energy sector, establishing partnerships with leading National Oil Companies (NOCs) and multinational corporations. Her extensive network includes key players such as ADNOC, TRANSCO, Saudi Aramco, SABIC, PDO, UNOC, CNPC, Petrofac, Shell, Total, ENI, and BP. Hanan's strategic partnerships have extended beyond individual companies to include influential international organizations like the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the World Energy Council, and regional foreign business councils and chambers. Hanan has been a keynote speaker and industry expert with a deep understanding and has actively participated in high-profile events such as Gastech, World Utilities Congress, and ITP Media Group, sharing her insights on sustainability, empowering women and young professionals, localization initiatives in the GCC region, and corporate social responsibility in Africa. Her contributions have significantly impacted industry discussions and drive progress in these areas. Hanan served as an independent consultant specializing in market acquisition, partnership development, and Business growth strategies. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Ajman University of Science and Technology and is a certified project manager from George Washington University. Hanan is a distinguished alumna of the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University, where she specialized in Oil, Gas, and Mining Governance. She is also a member of Access for Women in Energy, a global organization supporting trailblazing women in the energy sector, headquartered in London, UK. She is also the UAE ambassador and the global partner for Global Women Forum (Germany), an Exchange platform between businesswomen from Europe & Arab region. Beyond her professional pursuits, Hanan is a dedicated reader with a keen interest in quantum mechanics. She actively shares her knowledge and experience by delivering lectures on effective social practices and mental health.
