Tom Smeenk is Executive Vice President of Growth at VTTI based in London. He is responsible for VTTI’s growth agenda, leading the team for mergers, acquisitions and greenfield developments and joined VTTI in 2021 in Singapore.

Before joining VTTI, Tom held business development in the LNG and new energy infrastructure and corporate leadership positions for Royal Vopak, based in Singapore and Rotterdam.

Tom has a PhD in Economics and two bachelor’s and master’s degrees – one in Economics (Finance) and one in International Relations. Tom is a member of the Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities.
