Sarath Samrat is a Partner in Technology Consulting, based in Abu Dhabi, leading energy resilience, utilities transformation and enterprise asset management initiatives for the Energy sector. With more than a decade at EY, he specializes in resilience frameworks, smart grid transformation, operating model design, business architecture and asset optimization for power, water and energy infrastructure companies. Sarath developed a first of its kind enterprise resilience framework and operating model for a large GCC integrated utility. He also led productivity and automation programs targeting OPEX reduction and supported Meter Data Management Systems rollout for over 3 million smart meters. He holds a Master's in Electrical Power Engineering from the Masdar Institute in collaboration with MIT, and is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
