Russell Hardy is CEO of Vitol, a global energy and commodities company with revenues of over $330 billion. It delivers over 530mTOE of energy a year and has an asset portfolio spanning c8GW gross generation capacity, including renewable projects, both operational and under construction, 70+kboepd oil and gas production, 850kbpd refining capacity and c10,000 service stations. Russell has over 35 years’ experience within the energy industry, he joined Vitol in 1993 from BP and became CEO in 2018. Russell holds a MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
