Richard Dean has been one of the Middle East’s leading business journalists for more than two decades. As a reporter and editor for Reuters, The Economist and Bloomberg, and anchor presenter of the Business Breakfast show on Dubai Eye Radio and Dubai One TV. In 2025 he launched his own media production company, Roar. Current projects include host and producer of the Emirates World Podcast, as well as speaking at conferences across the region. When Richard isn’t covering successful business stories, his busy building one: he’s co-founder of Dubai-based Interior Design and Architecture studio Roar, with his wife Pallavi. Richard holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
