Asia is set to remain the centre of global energy demand growth, but the investment landscape is becoming increasingly complex. Rapid industrialisation, expanding middle classes and rising electricity consumption continue to create significant opportunities across energy value chains. India, Southeast Asia and parts of East Asia are competing to attract investment into energy production, power generation and industrial development. Yet confidence is not determined by growth alone. Investors are placing greater emphasis on policy consistency, supply chain resilience, and local partnerships. Countries that successfully balance energy security, economic competitiveness and investment certainty will be best positioned to attract long-term capital and shape the region's next phase of development.
