Olivier Blum, the Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric, leads the company in its mission to be the world's Energy Technology Partner for a sustainable, electrified world. Appointed in November 2024, his three decades with the company have been defined by leading the convergence of electrification, automation, and digital intelligence to empower industries, businesses, and people worldwide.

As a member of the Executive Committee since 2014, Olivier has been a driving force behind the company’s strategic pivots. He led the fast-growing Energy Management business, a key engine for the global energy transition, and served as Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer, where he was instrumental in shaping the company's vision as an Impact Company. This purpose-driven approach, combined with his people-centric leadership as a former Chief Human Resources Officer, earned him recognition as France's Chief HR Officer of the Year in 2019. Having spent more than two decades in leadership roles across India, China, Hong Kong, and the Middle East, he brings a truly global perspective to the role. His career spans a broad range of functions across Schneider Electric, giving him deep insight into the company’s operations, technologies, and people. From commercial and technical roles to strategic and transformational leadership, he has consistently worked at the intersection of innovation and execution. This wide-ranging experience, both geographically and functionally, shapes his comprehensive view of business, culture, and leadership, and strengthens his ability to guide the company through a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

Olivier’s long-standing commitment to both performance and purpose has been instrumental in Schneider Electric's success, contributing to its consistent recognition as a leader in the field, including being named the World’s Most Sustainable Corporation (Corporate Knights: 2021, 2025) and the World’s Most Sustainable Company (TIME Magazine & Statista: 2024, 2025).

Currently serving as an Independent Director at Keppel Corporation, he holds an MBA from Grenoble École de Management and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from IUT2, Grenoble, France.
