Nirupa Chander is the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Secure Power & Data Centres, and Power Systems International Operations at Schneider Electric. Leading more than 1000 seasoned professionals in delivering innovative solutions to empower channel partners and support customers with successful digital transformation projects and achieving sustainability goals. Schneider Electric's Secure Power and Power Systems Divisions provides complete physical infrastructure solutions for customers within data centers, digital infrastructure, distributed IT environments, and industrial applications. As SVP, Nirupa is responsible for leading business success accross multi-regional geographies: India, Middle East and Africa, Pacific and South America. Nirupa was formerly Vice President of Schneider Electric's Power Systems business in the Middle East and Africa region. She brings over 20 years of international experience, starting with a career in the energy sector in India and Australia. She led teams delivering transformative projects in the energy sector comprising energy storage and microgrids solutions in Australia before moving to the South East Asian market to lead digital and services. Before joining Schneider Electric, Nirupa was country lead for Hitachi Energy in Singapore, where she actively supported the development of Singapore’s power, industry, and transport infrastructure. Nirupa joined Schneider Electric in 2021 and is based in Dubai, UAE. She holds a B.E. in Electronics and is passionate about sustainable energy, innovative digital transformation technologies, and building multi-cultural global teams enthusiastic to drive change with a strong focus on industry partnerships.
