Nicolas Poirot is the CEO of Air Liquide Africa, Middle-East, South & Central Asia, a position he has held since September 2023. A dynamic leader with nearly three decades of international experience, Nicolas brings a wealth of knowledge in global operations, strategic planning, and cross-market development. Prior to his current role, he served as President & CEO of Air Liquide Greater China and President of Air Liquide South West Europe. His extensive career with the Group began in 1995 and has spanned Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa, including a pivotal tenure as Group Vice President of Strategic & Operations Control. Nicolas holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Ecole des Mines de Paris. He is a recognized industry advocate, serving as Chairman of the Association of International Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) Board and a French economic trade advisor (CCEF).
