Khalid Abdul Samad is Executive Vice President, Development & Production (Oil) at ADNOC Upstream, where he oversees ADNOC’s upstream oil-producing companies and supports the delivery of their asset mandates. With more than two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has held leadership roles across engineering, project delivery, field operations and asset management. Since joining ADNOC in 2000, he has contributed to major oil and gas field development activities and led production operations at the Shah Field. He was appointed to his current role in 2023. Khalid holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University.
