His Excellency is one of the UAE's distinguished national leaders driving the country's industrial transformation and innovation agenda through the adoption of advanced technologies at the highest levels of government, pursuant to the Federal Decree issued in December 2025. He leads the Ministry's efforts to strengthen the UAE's industrial resilience by advancing innovation-driven, technology-enabled industrial ecosystems. He also oversees initiatives to enhance industrial investment across the nation's priority sectors, expand the export of UAE-manufactured products to global markets, and further reinforce the United Arab Emirates' position among the world's leading economies in industry and advanced technology. In April 2026, he was appointed Chairman of the National Industrial Data Committee, a strategic initiative led by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. In this role, he oversees the governance of the UAE's national industrial data ecosystem while driving efforts to strengthen manufacturing resilience in support of the country's industrial agenda. He holds a bachelor's degree in financial studies and has built a distinguished leadership career spanning the healthcare, investment, and development sectors. With more than two decades of executive leadership experience, he has held several senior leadership positions and completed executive education programmes at Cornell University and Harvard Medical School. From 2023 to 2025, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of M42, formed following the merger of Mubadala Health and G42 Healthcare. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding the Emirati Genome Programme, enabling it to achieve record milestones within a short period. He also supported the development of Al-powered medical large language models and contributed to the acquisition of Diaverum. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Health from 2021 to 2023, having previously held the position of Senior Vice President - Healthcare at Mubadala. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President and Head of Hospitality at Mubadala Real Estate and Infrastructure, where he oversaw the development and opening of the Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi.
