AI, automation, connected equipment and real-time data are enabling companies to improve productivity, anticipate disruption and reduce the energy and emissions intensity of industrial activity. But maximising these benefits require more than individual technologies, it requires capital. Industrial leaders, operators, technology providers and investors must align around integrated solutions with clear operational value, credible returns and a pathway to wider deployment. Investment decisions will be critical in determining which technologies move beyond pilot projects and become embedded across industrial systems.Energy 5.0 will be defined by industries that can combine human expertise, intelligent technology and disciplined investment to operate more efficiently, respond faster to disruption and compete in a lower-emissions economy.
